description
Participating in the Couples Challenge is really easy.
Although you really don't have to declare yourself
a team until race day, you may wish to indicate that
you are intending to enter the Couple Challenge, while
you are entering as an individual online.
You can still declare a team on race day even if
you didn't so indicate when entering.
On race day, we will provide scoresheets to fill
out after your race.
You and your partner can both
compete in the Sprint Triathlon, or both compete in
the Olympic Triathlon or one of you may compete in
the Sprint and the other in the Olympic - it doesn't
matter which of these two events you enter, you are
eligible for the Couples Challenge awards.
(the Couples Challenge does not include the Try A
Tri).
Your team score will be determined by adding your
places in your races to provide your Couples Challenge
Score. The couple with the lowest total
score will be the Couples Challenge Champions. Medals
will be awarded to the top 3 couples teams.
A detailed description of these events can be found
on the main event
page. There is also a lot of other useful information
on the Somersault website to assist you to prepare
for event day..
