A fun and fitness day for the kids! The 7th Annual Austin Wylie May Day Run is great for kids up to 11 years of age. It is also a super way for schools and clubs to raise funds for their own activity programs. Light post race refreshments await everyone, along with a participant kit, a participation medal, race certificate, and a chance at one of the many draw prizes.

The run is traffic free through a park and along sidewalks. Bring Mom and Dad too, because you need a parent/guardian with you to enter. They can jog-a-long with you for free.

"spring half marathon for kids" - for home or school
A brand new program to get kids (ages 8-11) running, jogging, and walking regularly in the month before the Austin Wylie May Day 1Km Run on May 2nd. The program is designed for use at home or school; to be monitored by parents and/or teachers. Kids will run and track a daily program prior to, and complete the last 1Km of the 21Km half marathon distance at, the Austin Wylie May Day Run on May 2nd at Place d'Orleans.

There are no refunds for any reason. Only entries that are received by Sunday April 26th are eligible for the souvenir shirt -  no exceptions. Entry after April 26th, can only be made at a Race Kit Pick Up time and place (see below), and must be paid in cash.

We are pleased to offer each race finisher, the opportunity to download and print an official certificate of their event performance. That's right, after each event you will be able to go online to http://www.somersault.ca/results.htm, punch in your race number and download a certificate that highlights your race, finish time and place in the race.

All participants entering by Sunday April 25th, receive a souvenir shirt. Those entering after that, are not eligible for the shirt.If you do not pick up your race kit, you are not eligible for the shirt after the race.

Take Highway 174 to the Place d'Orleans exit, turn right at the lights and then make the next left at the lights. When you come to the stop sign beside Place d'Orleans, turn left and follow the drive to the underground parking.

parking
Park your car underground at Place d'Orleans, and take the elevator to the 2nd floor if you need to pick up a race kit or enter the race.

A parent or adult supervisor must accompany each participant, and may be required to assist at the event.

The Austin Wylie May Day Run is also a great opportunity for schools or clubs to raise some money by volunteering or collecting pledges. It is a fun way to pick up a few hundred dollars.
