| Conservation Park , Centre St. at the Bridge - Greater Napanee, Ontario |
|
|
It is great to be back in beautiful Greater Napanee, Ontario, for the newest running event in the Eastern Run Series.
We hosted a very successful triathlon event here a few years ago and we are really pleased to have been invited back by the Town of Greater Napanee to re-start the triathlon, and add The Coorperators 5Km Run/Walk for the many local residents who want to be part of what will become an annual event for many years to come.
You will love the run event site. It is in the middle of town at Pavilion Park, and run and walk course travels through downtown and along the river.
Hospice Lennox & Addington, benefits from a portion of the entry fee proceeds, as well as from The Cooperators' generous sponsorship of the run. You can also choose to contribute a little extra to the Hospice if you wish, through your voluntary donations or pledges.
We invite you to join us on July 29, 2008 to run or walk for Fitness, Fun and Funds for Hospice Lennox & Addington on this pre-Canada Day celebration event.

Each 2008 Somersault Run Series event features a Champions Challenge Race, and The Cooperators 5Km Run in Greater Napanee, is an official race in the Champions Challenge. To learn more about the Champions Challenge, please go to http://www.somersault.ca/championships.htm.

race refreshments
Enjoy local refreshments immediately after your run or walk.
championchip iming
We use ChampionChip Timing at all Somersault races.
This timing system requires that all participants
wear a ChampionChip Bracelet on their ankle (Anklet) during
the race. This bracelet contains a computer chip that
allows you to be timed. No chip = no time.
You are responsible for
obtaining your ChampionChip Bracelet on race morning
from the Sportstats Tent near
the Finish Line. Do this at least 30 minutes
before your race - earlier is better! Races
will not be held up waiting for those who forgot their
bracelet.
You must return your ChampionChip
Bracelet immediately after you cross
the finish line. You are responsible for the
cost if it is not returned - and it is expensive.
your
results (Age is as
of December 31, 2008)
Your personal results will be posted very soon after
you finish the race. Please check the results
as soon as you can, to be sure they are accurate.
If there are discrepancies, go to the Sportstats
van near the Finish Line and provide them with the
information you think is correct. Results will
only adjusted after race day, if it is our error.
Have the results people make changes before you leave
the event site, or live with the results!
Results will be posted at http://www.somersault.ca/results.htm within 24 hours of the race.
