Somersault organizes and hosts these community sport, recreation and fitness events for the recreational enjoyment of participants of all ages and stages. Our primary clients are the participants in our events. Our participants come first.

event accreditation board
The "Event Accreditation Board" is comprised of Somersault Race Directors and selected specialists in their field. The Board is responsible for developing and ensuring individual events adhere to the "Event Accreditation Standards".

The purpose of "Event Accreditation Standards" is to hold each Somersault event accountable to participant based, event delivery criteria that ensure each event participant is treated equitably, can prepare properly, and is able to participate fairly in a safe competition.

  • provide competition supervision sufficient to ensure a safe, and fair competition,
  • maintain the liability insurance coverage necessary to protect those who are involved in organizing and supporting the event,
  • respect the conditions imposed, by insurers, facility owners, host municipalities, and affiliated agencies,
  • make best efforts to ensure that event workers and volunteers are capable of performing the tasks to which they are assigned,
  • provide an appeal mechanism to allow for participant protests, and
  • encourage and respond to participant feedback and suggestions
