how to enter
There are two options:

1. Mail In Your Entry
Mail In entries and fees must be received by Monday, May 3rd.   Entries received after May 3rd, will be assessed the late entry fee of $5. We are unable to provide confirmation of Mail In entries.

2. Drop Off Your Entry
Entries may be dropped off up to Monday May 3rd. Entry fees must accompany the entry.

Entries may not be dropped off after Monday May 3rd at 5:00 PM.  After this time, entries can only be made on race day at the event. Entries received after May 3rd, will be assessed the late entry fee of $5 and MUST BE PAID IN CASH. We are unable to provide confirmation of Drop Off entries.

Most information that you require in order to enter and participate in this event, can be found on the website. We will not normally respond to inquires that are answered in the race literature at www.somersault.ca.

We will respond to email communication only.  Due to the tremendous number of calls we receive however, we can only respond to those who are requesting or providing information that is not on the website.  Please check all website information before contacting us at info@somersault.ca.

A fun and fitness day for the kids! The Austin Wylie May Day Run is great for kids up to 12 years of age. It is also a super way for schools and clubs to raise funds for their own activity programs. Everyone gets a light breakfast, a kit, a finish prize and a chance at one of the many draw prizes.

Bring Mom and Dad too, because you need a parent/guardian with you to enter. They can jog-a-long with you for free.

souvenir shirt
Children and youth who pay the $5 entry fee, can also pay an extra $10 to receive a souvenir shirt. Those entering after Sunday April 30th are not eligible to purchase the souvenir shirt.

All participants receive a medal and are eligible for draw prizes

refreshments
A breakfast of fruit, and bagels is included in the entry fee.

entry fee conditions
There are no refunds for any reason. Entries in the 1.0 Km Run, that are received after Monday May 2nd will be assessed the late fee of $5. Entry fees must be paid when submitting the entry. You may not enter online. Entries received after Monday May 2nd are not eligible for the optional souvenir shirt -  no exceptions. Please add $8 if you want the souvenir shirt.  Entry fees for race day entries must be paid in cash.

volunteers
A parent or adult supervisor must accompany each participant, and may be required to assist at the event. The Mother s Day Run is also a Great opportunity for schools or clubs to raise some money by volunteering. It is a fun way to pick up a few hundred dollars. Email us if you are interested in this opportunity, or if your club can provide 10 or more volunteers in return for a donation to the club!

directions
Take Highway 174 to the Place d'Olreans exit, turn right at the lights and then make the next left at the lights. When you come to the stop sign beside Place d'Olreans, turn left and follow the drive to the underground parking.

parking
Park your car underground and take the elevator to the 2nd floor if you need to pick up a race kit or register.
