how to enter
There are two options:

1. Online Entries
Click on the "Enter Now" button and you will go directly to the online entry form.  You must have a VISA or MasterCard to complete the online entry.  The entry fee is $5. You will receive an email confirmation of online entries.

2. Mail In Your Entry:
Mail In entries and entry fees must be received by Monday, October 3.  Entries after  October 3, must be paid in cash at registration.  We are unable to provide confirmation of Mail In entries. Entries paid on race day must be with cash only. Clickthe "Enter Now" button above, to download a copy of the entry form.

3. Drop Off Your Entry
Entries and entry fees may be mailed or dropped off up to Monday, October 3 at PECCO'S, 86 Murray St.. After that date, entries may be made at registration and paid for in cash ($5). We are unable to provide confirmation of Drop Off entries.

A fun and fitness day for everyone in the family!  Michael Ryan's Most Excellent Turkey Trot (1.0 Km) is great for kids up to 12. It is also a super way for schools and clubs to raise funds for their own activity programs. Best of all, kids and youth enter for just a toonie - if you enter on time! Everyone gets refreshments, a kit, and a chance at one of the many draw prizes. Don't forget to bring Mom and Dad too, because you need a parent/guardian with you to enter!

Children and youth who pay the $5 entry fee, can also pay an extra $10 to receive a souvenir T-shirt - kids sizes. Those entering after Sunday October 1st are not eligible to purchase the souvenir shirt. .

Entry Fee Conditions
There are no refunds for any reason. Entries received after October 1 are accepted in cash only, at Race Kit Pick Up, and are not eligible for the optional souvenir shirt.  Add $10 for a souvenir shirt up to October 1st.

It is very hectic on race day morning at the registration tables, so if you can, pick up your race kit before race day.  If you can't, arrive early to pick up your race kit on race day.

volunteers
A parent or adult supervisor must accompany participants.  One adult may accompany several participants. You may be asked to assist at the event. The Turkey Trot is also a great opportunity for schools or clubs to raise some money by volunteering. It is a fun way to pick up a few hundred dollars. Call us if you are interested in fundraising, or if your club would like us to make a donation in return for your providing 10 or more volunteers.

directions
Take the Queensway East past Orleans on Regional Road 174 to the Village of Cumberland. Turn South at the traffic lights on Cameron and make the next left onto Old Montreal Rd. Head East on Old Montreal Rd. until you reach the Cumberland Heritage Village Museum (approx. 2Km).

course description 
The runners start on the grounds of the Cumberland Heritage Village Museum. They complete one and one eigth loops of the ring road on the Museum grounds before crossing the Finish Line.
